Weekly Teebirds Results 7.23.26 Weibring SCRAMBLE Challenges Lunch Social
On this beautiful morning 21 Teebirds teed off for a SCRAMBLE starting at 9 am. Thanks to Dave W for adjusting the Teams due to last minute injuries. (John Walker chipped a tooth and Bob Stefl broke a bone in his foot playing Pickle Ball.) Best wishes to both from all Teebirds as they cope with their injuries. Gary Duffy did a fine job giving out scorecards and Challenge sheet to each Team. There were 4 challenges to earn a Prize Ball. Thanks to the Weibring staff for placing markers on holes 2, 4, 6 and 8 before the match. The cooler containing cold drinks were place at the first tee by Al Pote. Sandy Groves made all the arrangements for the after-play pizza lunch. Again thanks to all for the exceptional team work from TeeBirds members.

We had 21 participants at the Lunch Social held in the Weibring Shelter. The variety of AVANTI’s PIZZA was very good. Good job Sandy! The chips and drinks were a nice addition via Al Pote. The best were the home baked cookies made and brought by Melinda Walker. A hearty THANKS to all who attended this fun Teebird event. Enjoy the weekend!
Next week, we return to our regular Tee-time start of 8 a.m. at IRON WOOD GC for a BRAMBLE match with Fairways hit. Our STARTER will be John Walker. Please arrive on time and check in so Dave W can adjust for any lineup changes. We look forward to John’s return with a ‘toothy’ smile in spite of a cracked tooth. Bob Stefl has a broken bone in his foot will take weeks to heal as well as Chuck McGuire recovering from his car accident.. We all wish them well and speedy recovery. Let’s continue to enjoy our summer months and remain in good health. Pace yourselves during the hot days coming next week, stay hydrated and be kind to each other.
